  5.     We have included all of the games for the 92-93 football season.
  6.  
  7.     Please follow the directions carefully to install the game file.
  8.  
  9.     The name of the file containing the games is: FBPL9293.GAM
  10.  
  11.     Note: If you have already ran WinPool for the first time, start at
  12.           step 2.
  13.  
  14.     Step 1:
  15.  
  16.         Start Winpool for the first time, you will see a dialog box that says
  17.     the file 'DEFAULT._DT' can't be found, do you want to create one...
  18.     -- Click on OK -- next you should see the Main Form -- the Current Data
  19.     Base field should say 'Sample Database - DO NOT USE'
  20.  
  21.     Step 2:

  23.         Choose 'Select a database' under the File entry on the menu bar,
  24.     you should then see the file selection screen.  In the file name field,
  25.     type an 8 character dos-type file name (be sure to delete the '*._MF' 
  26.     from the rest of the field).  Click on the OK box.  You should then see
  27.     a dialog box indicating the file name you typed in does not exist, and
  28.     asking you if you want to create it.. Select YES..  You should then
  29.     see a database description form, this is where you type a description
  30.     (up to 40 characters) that will appear on the Main Form -- Click on OK
  31.     when you are done.  You should now be back at the main form.
  32.     ** MAKE A NOTE OF THE 8 CHARACTER DOS NAME YOU CREATED, YOU WILL NEED **
  33.     **                            IT LATER!!                              **

  35.     Step 3:

  37.         Choose 'Start a new season' under the File entry on the menu bar,
  38.     you should come right back to the Main Form.

  40.     Step 4:

  42.         Open up a DOS window, and change to the directory that you installed 
  43.     WinPool in.

  45.     Step 5:

  47.         Type the following command in:

  49.                 COPY FBPL9293.GAM xxxxxxxx._WG
  50.  
  51.         where xxxxxxxx is equal to the 8 character DOS name you created in
  52.         step 2.

  54.     Step 6:

  56.         Go back into WinPool, and choose 'Enter this years games' under the
  57.     Games entry on the menu bar.  You should see the games for the season.
